Patients' rights in Finland

EDITOR, - Tony Sheldon reports on a new Dutch law defining patients' rights and says that the Netherlands has become the first country in Europe to pass a law defining the responsibilities of doctors to their patients.1 Finland has had a law on patients' rights and their situation since 1 March 1993.
