WHO strikes back

The World Health Organization criticises the BMJ for publishing a series of articles contributing to "a profound lack of understanding about how results are achieved in the global political arena." Aitken (p 217) explains why undermining WHO's work is uncalled for if international organisations are to focus on future solutions at a time when ill health is a chief manifestation of injustice and the gap between the rich and the poor is expanding.
