Tackling malaria today

In this Analysis article by Jo Lines and colleagues errors were made when we redrew the map (BMJ 2008;337:435, 23 Aug, doi:10.1136/bmj.a869). The map, which appears only in the pdf and print versions of the article, did not show the border of (malaria-free) Lesotho or the border between Swaziland and South Africa or the presence of malaria in Sri Lanka, Sumatra (Indonesia), and Palawan (Philippines). The correct map (published by the World Health Organization) can be found at www.who.int/malaria/malariaendemiccountries.html.
